I did a digital painting workshop at ACAD in Calgary.

They wanted me to do some portraits so I did...

Didn't have a model so took a random photo online and painted it for an hour and half.

And this is a personal work that I did for my beutiful cousin, Sojung Lee,

who's a well-known singer in South Korea.

She recently went through some really tough times and I wanted to cheer her up.

I've been super busy with work so the blog has been slow on uploads.

But I'm hoping to upload more personal work as my new portfolio is slowly coming together.

These were for a Facebook group called Virtual Plein-Air (https://www.facebook.com/groups/290155717818479/) made by the brilliant Blizzard concept artist Mathias Verhasselt (http://mv.cgsociety.org/).

What you basically do is take a screenshot of a location off google maps and just paint!

I love plein-air paintings and I've personally missed doing them since I started working remotely at home.

And this is an amazing way to virtually travel and fulfill my painting desries.
