Liliana "Frost"
So I've been introduced to the world of Magic the Gathering recently and been really digging it.
And I thought I'd do a fan art for one of my favorite planeswalkers, Liliana Vess.
Below are the sketch process that was followed by multiple composition study thumbnails (aka scribbles in my sketchbook):

This ended up being one of the most challenging things I've ever painted.
I think I was trying to do too much at once and learned that illustrations are better when it's simple and well-done.
